Lake Payolle

If you follow a bit the Tour de France, you could not miss this jewel of the Pyrenees just 25 minutes from our residence. The lake of Payolle is as much appreciated by cyclists as by hikers. It is perfectly located between the Tourmalet passes, the Aspin pass and the Hourquette d'Ancizan.

❄️​ In winter: snow fields to ride on a sledge with the family, hostels that warm the body and the heart, plateaus, peaks and forests to explore on snowshoes or cross-country skiing… there is an undeniable “Far North” spirit.
☀️  In summer: enjoy the mountain freshness on a lazy day by the lake, try the many activities and enjoy good local products in one of the restaurants or during a picnic…
